  1. A good pitch. But surely you should have added Where Is My Mind?????

  2. Interesting ideas concerning abstract shots e.g. the fish, how do you plan to create shots like these? I really like the idea of 'strange camera shots' such as the shaky cam and disorientated framing; I also really like your song choice!

  3. Thank you very much! I'm going to go down to the garden centre and film some fish using an app such as Video Star to see which effect works best, and then hopefully overlap the shots of the fish with shots of the band. :)

  4. I think your choice of the abstract and surrealism should go really well with the song, especially in terms of the song's context and lyrics. I'm also intrigued as to how you will use your black-and-white shots - for example, would you use them to differentiate between performance and narrative?
I also admire your idea of shaky camerawork, I'm fascinated to see how you would use this in your music video. Possibly taking influence from films like Requiem For A Dream?

  5. Thank you :)
If I decide to include a narrative element, this could well be the case. Otherwise, I might film entirely in black and white, and then enhance certain colours in the background, e.g. the fish, or depending on the location, the outdoor scenery - similar to In Between Days by The Cure and So What Cha Want by The Beastie Boys, as well as Basket Case by Green Day.
Certainly, yes. I plan to shoot using a hand-held camera, and include a range of camera shots and transitions such as jump cuts, Dutch angles etc. to create a disorientating style.

  6. A good pitch for sure. What would be the narrative element? Also would you continue the physcadelic element onto your Digipak and Music Advert, to continue continuity or mix it up?

  7. Thank you! I'm not sure what the narrative element would be at this stage, but it would somehow be relevant to the lyrics, rather than something completely irrelevant.
And yes, I most likely would. I want to create some very abstract artwork and so the psychedelic element would work well with this.

  8. I like how it is different from a lot of peoples work, and it is this that makes me think that it will work well. A good pitch and interesting ideas, looking forward to seeing the final product.
