Final Digipak

I did not alter the inside right image as my teacher had approved that this did not need changing, and although he did suggest that I add text to the front cover, I felt that this would ruin the image and after doing so, decided to leave it as it was originally. The back cover, inside left and spine improvements have been stated in previous posts.

  1. I like how the digipak ties in with your magazine advert, making a visual link and brand for the band. The theme is consistent and features the same colour scheme as the advert; which is good. The text is easy to read and the layout is simple, but effective. - Holly

I like the simplistic look of the digipack and the different colours used for the fish because they work really well together. Also the spine of the digipack works well because it merges the front cover with the back cover which creates a nice effect. - George

  2. I like the simplicity of the digipak design - using fish as a recurring motif already provides a symbol for your band and is something that the audience can easily recognise the band by, therefore you have created a very effective brand. The colours automatically draw the eyes of the audience towards the digipak, and the contrasting colours compliment each other well side by side. You have still maintained a simplistic design even when using such busy colours, and the text is not overpowered by this colour palette either as it is still easy to read. All elements compliment each other and balance very very well.
