Final Music Video

  1. I think that the use of a camcorder is very effective as it reinforces the genre of the video. I think that the artists that you have used and the costumes they are wearing definitely reflect your chosen genre. I like the different tones of the video, how it switches between black and white to bright, bold colours. :)

  2. The footage of the fish works really well for the video. The artists work well for the video, and are interesting to follow throughout the video. The camcorder effect is effective, and works well for the genre of the video :)

  3. I love the camcorder effect that you've used and the transitions you've incorporated (the white noise) are really effective and interesting. Every individual member of the band is perfectly styled and the band overall reflects the genre of the music. The black and white camcorder shots contrast with the shots of the fish, where you have used brightly coloured effects. and this works really well as it gives a multiple aspect to your video - keeping the audience's attention throughout. So so good!

  4. First of all, i think that this video fits "where is my mind?" very effectively, and the use of the handheld camcorder shots reflects this well. I enjoy how the lead singer, Dan, if I'm not mistaken, breaks the fourth wall and sings directly to the viewer, battling normal conventions. The transitioning of the shots, especially the the 'static' transition look good and is very effective. Also there is a great contrast, when colour is introduced in the form of the fishes and this gives a psychedelic feel, in a way. I really enjoyed this, and the use of the fishes on your digipak & advert work really well.
